Goddess Saraswati is the devi of music, knowledge, art, and nature. She empowers with the ability of speech, wisdom, and learning. Basant Panchami marks the transition from Winter season to Spring season. It is celebrated as the day of Goddess Saraswati. On this day, people worship her and wish for health, prosperity, and happiness. The Indore institute of management and Research celebrated holy festival of Basant Panchami enthusiastically on Feb 14, 2024. The Department of Students Welfare conducted Saraswati Pujan on the pious occasion of Basant Panchami in front of A-Block. The event was graced by The. Honourable Group Advisor Sir Shri Arun Bhatnagar, Dr. Puneet Duggal (CEO), Dr. Aradhana Chouksey (Principal IIMR), Dr. Keshav Patidar (Principal IIST), Dr. Nimita Manocha (Principal IIP), Students, faculty, and staff came together to begin the pooja by praying and offering flowers to Goddess Saraswati. Saraswati Vandana was also played to enrich the atmosphere with positive energy. Everyone presents at the pooja offered prayers to the Goddess of education, creativity, and music. In his address Honourable Group Advisor Sir Shri Arun Bhatnagar wished everyone with his blissful words and shared the significance of the pooja. He wished good health and happiness for all. The students and staff paid their tribute to Maa Saraswati and prayed for a year filled with knowledge and enlightenment.
