Statistical Analysis of Data in Excel

Statistical Analysis of Data in Excel SIG was conducted from 12^th Jan, 2023 to 16^th March, 2023 with the aim to make students skilled and after completion students were successfully able to:

 

1. Represent the data in the pictorial, tabular and numerical form
2. Measure dispersion, distribution and central tendency of the data
3. Understand Correlation and Regression
4. Test hypothesis using parametric and non-parametric tests.

 

No. of Students who registered for SIG were 82. The total count of students who successfully completed the SIG was 37.

They were made aware that at one point Statistics is required in every field today. It opened up a new form of arranging and analysing data. But within just the past few years, the importance of statistics has increased a lot.

The final test was objective based and was conducted on 16^th March 2023.

They were explained basic concepts of Statistics and were given hand-on experience on Ms Excel. The resource person was Dr. Reshu Agarwal.
