To celebrate the International Women’s Day, 2023 IIMR has organized a Special Lecture on Empowering Women through Advances in Technology in the Field of Health Care on 13th March, 2023. The lecture was delivered by the Expert, Dr. Dr. Brajbala Tiwari (MS, FICOG, FICS), Managing Director- Life Care Hospital Ltd. Through her lecture she emphasized that it is necessary for young girls and women to update themselves with the latest technologies. Mobile phones can improve women’s access to healthcare. Phones can be used to send reminders for immunizations or check-ups provide remote consultation, facilitate access to health clinics, improve contact with local health workers and track information during pregnancy and after, like infant growth. In this way Women’s Day was celebrated.
