  • Hindi Diwas Essay Writing Competition

    Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on 14th September to commemorate the adoption of Hindi as the official language of India. To mark this important day, an Essay Writing Competition was organized by Indore Institute of Management and Research on the topic “अंग्रेजी के स्थान पर हिंदी की संपर्क भाषा के रूप में उपादेयता”.

    Event started with a brief address by Principal IIMR, Dr Rishi Dubey about the historical background and choice of Hindi as the official language of India. Sir reminded the importance of the Hindi language in India’s cultural and linguistic landscape and to promote linguistic unity and cultural diversity in the country.

    The event aimed to promote the use of Hindi and encourage participants to express their thoughts in Hindi through the art of essay writing. The Essay Writing Competition was open to participants of all programs and it witnessed an enthusiastic turnout with 52 participations.

    The competition showcased the participants’ creativity and linguistic skills as they penned down their thoughts and ideas on the topic. Participants displayed a deep connection to the Hindi language, and their essays were a reflection of their love and respect for their mother tongue. Essays were evaluated on the basis of content, language proficiency, originality, and overall presentation.

    After much deliberation, the winners were selected. Chetna Verma from BBA I Year stood first in the competition, second position was bagged by Janhavi Rohit from BBA II Year and third position was shared by Vivek Soni from BBA FT II Year and Riya Dixit from B. Com III Year. The winners were awarded with certificates.
