A session on “Problem Solving and Ideation” was organized on 25th November 2023.The session was conducted by Dr.Aradhana Chouksey, Principal IIMR, Indore. She has a rich experience of 23 Years in the area of Entrepreneurship & Administration. She has been associated with number of institutions and industries.
The session began with the welcome address for the resource person. She began with the importance of problem solving skills and its intricacies in one’s life and explained what differentiated the successful people from those who failed, and the reason- (ignorance to understand problem and its solution.) Brain storming organized through Newspaper exercise, in which first students were divided in groups and each group assigned newspaper to list business idea as much as possible within 15 minutes after that analysis of each business idea was conducted on the basis of sector and growth rate. This process assists students in forming ideas and then conception of the final idea. She explained competencies which are required to fix the problem that would help the individual to play all his roles successfully, both at personal and professional front. She also explained the steps to solve problem &emphasized that we should not allow the negative thoughts to escalate and in fact deviate and change its directions by thinking of all possible solutions. She talked about the famous game changer personalities &conducted interesting activities to judge student’s ability to handle stress and problems. The session ended with proposing the vote of thanks. The session received tremendous response and was attended by almost 53 students.
