    Webinar: Role of Young Entrepreneurs in Economic Development Post Covid -19

    Department of MBA and Apratim Udhyamita, Entrepreneurship Development Center of Indore Institute of Management and Research organized a webinar on “Role of Young entrepreneurs in Economic Development Post Covid 19” on 22nd May 2020. The key note speaker of the program was well known Tedx Speake Mr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder of the Vivekanand Youth Initiative and Mahatma Gandhi National fellow, IIM Bangalore.

    Entrepreneurs have always played key role in building the economy and this time of crises their role is even critical to the economy of the nation. With this thought, the session was started with the insight of Respected Shri. Arun S. Bhatnagar, Director General of the Institute. He coined the term Valorization of Economy and discussed how Entrepreneurs can save the Economy in this critical situation. He also added that Covid 19 is affecting different industries in different ways; startups will have to work on lean model and focus on revenue sources. Sir expressed his valuable remarks on Role of Young Entrepreneurs and added that industries could take the opportunity to innovate with more digitalization and disruption implemented in their business models in order to increases the touch-points with their customers.

    Session Expert Mr. Gaurav Gupta discussed in detailed the upcoming opportunities for Entrepreneurs and how each stage of startup will get affected by Covid 19. Further he discussed about what will change and what will stay same post crisis. Students asked various questions from speaker. The session was concluded by the Vote of Thanks by Principal of IIMR, Dr. Simranjeet Kaur Sandhar.

    Total 170 students participated in the session.
